About the Photographer
A LIFETIME
OF
PHOTOGRAPHY
My name is Suzi Trousdale and I happily reside in Coos
Bay, on the Southwest Oregon Coast, after living in
Washington State, then Northern California for nearly 40
camera with a macro lens, and since then I've been looking
recording images onto film and now digitally.  The images
that you'll see on this site span thirty-plus years.

Many of the images were shot with the 35mm film camera,
then the negatives or slides were digitally scanned.  Now
I'm using digital cameras.  Watch the
Newest Images
page for brand new photos and art.

In early 2007 I began creating note cards and prints of
my photos as a sideline.  About that same time, I
discovered filters in a photo editing program, and I've
been having so much fun with them, filtering some of my
photos.  Whatever images you see here are still my
photographs.  I've simply tweaked some of them a bit (or
a lot) for some dramatic and stunning effects.  In late
2007, I took an Adobe PhotoShop class at the local college.

Gardening and bird watching are my other passions.
Horticulture and photography create a wonderful sensory
and visual combination.  I have an extensive collection of
nature photos which grows larger on an almost daily basis.

I've submitted some of my images to local magazines,
newspapers, and to GoogleEarth.  I won the May and the
June 2009 Photo of the Month contest of The World
newspaper.  One of my Rufous hummingbird images was
accepted by Oregon Coast/Northwest Magazine, and was
published in the May/June 2010 issue.  GoogleEarth, via
Panoramio.com, has accepted hundreds of my photographs
(
my GoogleEarth images ).

I'm proud and happy to share these images with you - enjoy!
